Saturday
Saturday was yoga day in my Nike+ Training Club app. It was only 15 minutes, but it wasn't easy. There were plank variations in there that really threw me {down on the ground}. Let's just say it's not my typical yoga, but I'm excited to try it next week!
Monday
I started off running an easy going mile on the Las Vegas Strip via iFit & Google Maps on my treadmill at the gym. It makes running pretty fun, especially for me because I dislike treadmills.
The Nike+ program had me do a 30min workout called Body Flexor {same as last week}.

TuesdayAround 5ish in the morning Daniel & I headed for the gym to run 3 miles. I set up a map in San Francisco for this one. I know what you're thinking, but it wasn't on the hilly roads, it was around Crissy Fields which is primarily flat. I enjoyed seeing the Golden Gate bridge in the distance near the end of my run. Afterwards, Daniel & I decided to try and play around with the gyms boxing station thingy. We played and had a lot of fun. The wall by the station has workouts/combos for you to do and we had a blast and really got our heart rates up. WednesdayWednesday is typically a rest day, but I have been feeling amazing so I did a spontaneous workout. I danced like a crazy person. See all the details on my blog post {here}. ThursdayThursdays are always killer because my "Monday" is Wednesday night, so getting home from work around 730am on Thursday makes it hard to want to workout. I force myself to drop everything and get it started because if I wait around I know it won't happen. On Thursdays Nike brings me a 45min workout. This time it was a different one than last week and it was called Dream Team. I actually really enjoyed it compared to last weeks workout. FridayFriday is another 3 mile run. I decided to redo the same route from Tuesday in Crissy Fields. I kicked Tuesdays butt by 3 whole minutes. I'm pretty happy with that. After my run I rested up and then decided on a 9 minute workout at the boxing station. I died. I rested up a little bit again and then wanted to try out the fancy spin bikes they had. These things are crazy. When you increase the resistance it actually moves the bike machine up in an incline, like a treadmill. It also has gears and crap. Crazy, I tell you. I had fun for a quick mile and then Daniel & I decided it was time to get out of there! Two hours at the gym is enough. |
