Go to work, come home, attempt sleep, repeat....and forget to blog. That's life lately in a nutshell. I love blogging, sadly I have a bad habit of dropping the blog-ball.
Alex Beadon with all her wonderful inspirationalness has designed a blogging challenge. Check out the 7 day Feel Good Blogging Challenge!
This came at a great time, a time when I've stopped all blogging on all sites everywhere. So here goes, I'm jumping in! The first challenge is a little intro about me and my blog.

This came at a great time, a time when I've stopped all blogging on all sites everywhere. So here goes, I'm jumping in! The first challenge is a little intro about me and my blog.
#1 Who are you? | HELLO there! My name is Glady. I typically go by Glady Anne all over the interwebs. Anne is my middle name. Glady is my FULL FIRST NAME. No, it's not short for anything. It's pronounced like Glad "E". Well now that's out of the way... I was born in the spunky city of San Francisco, California. I love that city, no doubt part of my heart is always there. Now, I live in lovely Southern Utah. Time for some rapid fire facts about me:

#2 Why did you start blogging?
I've been blogging very loosely on & off for several years. First, I started a personal blog to share my adventures and thoughts. Then I started a photography blog, but never knew what to post. After that I started this health/fitness blog because I'm really passionate about the subjects. I feel I actually have something worth sharing. This blog & my photography blog are ones I look forward to developing. In fact, I'll be doing this same blogging challenge on my photo site when it's up and running again {I'm currently completely switching it over to wordpress}.
To completely sum this up: I love the idea of sharing knowledge, experience, and resources. As well as putting stories to photos and creating a community.

#3 Who is your blog for? | Whole Body Blog is for anyone who is interested in their health. I say that loosely because I cover things from mindfulness to beginner running programs. I also love to share resources and fun things I find like books, videos, and online workout programs. In all honesty, I want to create a kind of community of people who share the same interest in their health and like to have fun with this adventure. |
#4 What's something you've been working on lately that you're really proud of?
On this site, I was super proud of my beginners running program and my beginners yoga. I absolutely loved doing those so much. Up next is a reading book club!! This book club would include self-help/inspiring/motivating/fitness type books. Since I'm a busy bee myself, I made it busy-friendly. I LOVE reading, but I can easily get caught up in life {sound familiar?}. This would be only 4 books for the year. Gives everyone time to get the book, read it, and post their thoughts. It will be connected to Goodreads as well.
It's honestly a trial run, if it goes well I'll continue it!
I'm thinking of starting it off in January, but will release the book list in November to give everyone the time to get books on sale ;)
Sign up for the newsletter if your interested!! {it only goes out once a month so you won't be bombarded}
In other news, I've been slacking in my fitness as well. I'm only hitting the gym once a week at the moment and I feel completely sad about that. I love working out, but this job of mine is making me lose interest in a lot of things because I'm just tired. SO a personal project I'm working on is finding my way back to ME. Not letting my lame job take over like a dark blob swallowing me whole...

#5 What's the ONE MESSAGE that you hope people take away from your blog?
When people come to my blog I want them to feel inspired. I want them to consider me as a resource and I want them to feel open to try new things and SHARE their experiences. Like I mentioned before, I want to eventually have a kind of community of people who are all just trying to have fun with their own health adventure. Eventually, I plan on getting my certifications to be a personal trainer and health coach, at that point I hope to become an even bigger resource for some people's wellness journey.
Well there's the first challenge! I loved this, it has definitely reignited the spark for blogging and for personal growth. Thanks again to the amazing Alex Beadon and to anyone who actually read this post, you're amazing ;)
Also, since this is an about me of sorts, I thought I'd include a few more photos...enjoy and I'll see you in the next post!
